The TONE CNR Nutrunner Series delivers fully cordless, torque-controlled bolting via square drive, so there’s no power outlet and no external controller to manage. Five models cover 150 to 2,100 N·m, all running on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform with a 40-minute charge time.
In addition, a brushless DC motor, automatic torque shut-off, and ±5% repeat accuracy suit structural and civil bolting on sites without mains power. Each unit is supplied with output adapter, L-shaped reaction bar, battery, charger, and metal case.
How Cordless Torque Control Works
This cordless design is the counterpart to the brand’s lever-socket tool. Both are built for the same torque-regulated structural and civil applications; however, this version uses a square drive that accepts standard impact sockets instead.
The torque controller is integrated directly into the tool body, and automatic shut-off stops the tool the moment the preset torque is reached. As a result, fastening stays consistent and repeatable regardless of operator technique, even in locations where mains power isn’t available or practical.
Furthermore, all five models run on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform (BSL 36B18 / BSL 36A18), with a 40-minute charge time. Since the square drive accepts standard impact sockets across the ¾” and 1″ ranges, it’s straightforward to deploy on sites already running impact socket inventory.

Compatible batteries are HiKOKI BSL 36B18 and BSL 36A18 only, and the charger is not sold separately. Bolts per charge figures are based on F10T high-tension bolts under standard conditions; however, the actual count will vary with bolt condition, friction, and temperature.
