TONE Electric Nutrunner (GSR Series)
Wired lever-socket nutrunners spanning 150–2,100 N·m across three variants, with integrated torque control, automatic shut-off, and ±5% repeat accuracy.
More Information
The TONE GSR Nutrunner Series comprises wired nutrunners with an integrated torque controller and lever socket drive, built for structural steel, civil, and infrastructure bolting from 150 to 2,100 N·m. Three variants are available: standard T-models for general use, WT double-switch models requiring two-hand activation for added operator safety, and A Shear Runner models featuring a high-rigidity aluminium body motor for enhanced output and workability. All models are double-insulated and Digitorqon compatible, supplied with a lever socket and metal case as standard.
How Lever Socket Torque Control Works
This range shares the same core design as the brand’s square-drive nutrunners — torque controller built directly into the tool body, automatic shut-off at the preset torque value, and ±5% repeat accuracy — in a lever socket format that suits the MRU, HRU, and VRU socket ranges. The full range covers structural steel from M16 through M30 high-tension bolts.
Three model variants are available. The standard T-models (GSR31T through GSR211T) are the core workhorse range with single-trigger operation across five torque tiers. The WT double-switch models (GSR81WT/82WT) require simultaneous two-hand switch activation to run the tool — both the trigger and the sub-switch must be pressed, and the switch positions are designed so that one hand alone cannot engage both — preventing finger crush injuries at the reaction bar. The A Shear Runner models (GSR81A/82A) feature a high-rigidity aluminium body motor delivering higher no-load speed and output power at the 350–800 N·m tier, suited to demanding continuous-use applications.
All models accept the full range of optional MRU, HRU, and VRU lever sockets, and are compatible with an optional DTM digital torque verification attachment.
Key Features
- Integrated torque controller — no external control box; clean setup on site
- Automatic shut-off — stops precisely at preset torque, consistent results regardless of operator
- Lever socket drive — MRU, HRU, and VRU types across the range; wide socket compatibility
- Bidirectional operation — full torque control for both tightening and loosening
- ±5% repeat tightening accuracy — under consistent conditions across all models
- Double-insulated construction — operator safety across the full range
- Digitorqon compatible — supports an optional DTM digital torque verification attachment
- Double-switch safety variant (WT) — requires simultaneous two-hand activation; prevents reaction bar finger injuries
- Shear Runner aluminium body variant (A) — high-rigidity aluminium body motor; higher output speed and power for demanding applications
Typical Applications
- Structural steelwork and high-tension bolt installation (M16–M30)
- Bridge and civil infrastructure construction
- Road construction and barrier systems
- Rail and railway infrastructure
- Industrial plant maintenance and assembly
