Overhead conductor stringing requires both pulling force and controlled back-tension simultaneously. HTC supplies puller tensioner winches from TEMA for single and double conductor stringing operations. A winch that only pulls isn’t enough. The conductor must stay taut at a controlled load throughout, to prevent ground contact and sag. The AF series delivers standard hydraulic pull-tension for everyday loads. AFD digital models add electronic tension monitoring for higher-capacity conductor and OPGW stringing.
