Torque wrenches rely on friction to generate clamp load. HTC supplies hydraulic bolt tensioning systems from Durapac and ITH. In critical bolted connections — pressure flanges, foundation bolts, ring joints — friction introduces preload variability. That variability affects seal integrity and connection safety. This method bypasses friction entirely, stretching the bolt directly through hydraulic pressure for a consistent, accurate preload.

The range covers single-cylinder, twin, and segment-type tensioners for simultaneous multi-bolt tightening, from M16 through to M150. Applications include ANSI and API pressure flanges, ring flange connections, foundation bolts, and heat exchangers.
