TONE Cordless Nutrunner (CNB Series)

Five cordless torque tools spanning 150–2,100 N·m, running on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt platform with ±5% repeat accuracy and automatic shut-off.

More Information

The TONE CNB Nutrunner Series delivers fully cordless, torque-controlled bolting — no power outlet, no external controller, no compromise on accuracy. Five models cover 150 to 2,100 N·m, all running on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform with a 40-minute charge time. Brushless DC motor, automatic torque shut-off, and ±5% repeat accuracy suit structural and civil bolting on sites without mains power. Supplied with lever socket, battery, charger, and metal case.

How Cordless Torque Control Works

This cordless design is the counterpart to the brand’s wired GST tools — built for the same torque-regulated structural and civil applications, but completely free of power cables. The torque controller is integrated directly into the tool body, and automatic shut-off stops the tool the moment the preset torque is reached. The result is consistent, repeatable fastening regardless of operator technique, in locations where mains power isn’t available or practical.

All five models run on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform (BSL 36B18 / BSL 36A18), giving sites already running HiKOKI equipment a shared battery ecosystem. A brushless DC motor delivers efficient power across the full torque range with reduced maintenance requirements over the tool’s service life.

Key Features

  • Fully cordless — no power outlet required; work anywhere on site without managing cable runs.
  • Integrated torque controller — clean tool body, no external control box.
  • Automatic shut-off — stops precisely at the preset torque value every time.
  • Brushless DC motor — efficient, durable, low-maintenance across the full torque range.
  • Bidirectional operation — full torque control for both tightening and loosening.
  • ±5% repeat tightening accuracy — consistent results under uniform conditions across all models.
  • Digitorqon compatible — supports an optional DTM digital torque verification attachment.
  • HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform — 40-minute charge time; compatible with BSL 36B18 and BSL 36A18 batteries.

Typical Applications

  • Structural steelwork and high-tension bolt installation
  • Bridge and civil infrastructure construction
  • Road construction and barrier systems
  • Rail and railway infrastructure
  • Remote or elevated worksites without reliable mains power access
  • Industrial plant maintenance
