Plumettaz TL 3119 DR-570 Mechanic Capstan Winch Trailer
The Plumettaz TL 3119 DR-570/9 is a Honda petrol mechanic trailer-mounted capstan winch for underground telecommunications and power cable laying in pre-installed ducts, open trenches, and subducting operations. Delivers 3,000 daN pulling force in 1st gear and 1,500 daN in 2nd gear with 570 m of 9 mm rope. Powered by a Honda Gasoline GX340 SXE engine at 8.0 kW. Identical to the TL 3119 DR-420/9 in all specifications except rope capacity — 570 m versus 420 m — making it the better choice when the run demands a little more reach. Dual capstan system, automatic overload limiter, and automatic rope storage as standard.
More Information
The Plumettaz TL 3119 DR-570/9 is the longer-rope variant of the compact frame family — same 3,000 daN pulling force, same Honda petrol engine, 150 m more rope. The straightforward choice when your runs push past 420 m but a compact trailer is still the priority.
Key Features
-
-
- 570 m rope capacity — 9 mm rope; 150 m more than the TL 3119 DR-420/9 for longer cable runs without repositioning
- Honda Gasoline GX340 SXE — 8.0 kW — proven, readily serviced petrol engine; straightforward mechanical drive with no hydraulic system to maintain
- Mechanic direct drive — simple, robust drivetrain with minimal moving parts; easy to operate and maintain on site
- 3,000 daN pulling force in 1st gear — 1,500 daN in 2nd gear; the highest 2nd gear pulling force across all nine variants in the range
- Dual-speed capstan — 5–11.9 m/min in 1st gear and 9.8–23.5 m/min in 2nd gear; pay-out at up to 0–80 m/min
- Compact trailer frame — 595 kg without rope; easy to tow and manoeuvre on tight access sites
- Dual capstan system — constant speed and force; automatic rope storage via swivelling pulley for low-tension winding regardless of pulling force
- Automatic overload limiter — stops the winch instantly on overload; reverse gear for safe and controlled rope unwinding
-
Typical Applications
-
-
- Underground telecommunications and power cable laying in pre-installed ducts
- Open trench cable installation
- Subducting operations
- High-load cable pulling on medium-length runs where a compact trailer footprint is still required
- Sites with tight access where rope capacity beyond 420 m is needed
