Long cable pulls generate tension that can damage sensitive cables. HTC supplies cable feeder caterpillars from Lancier and Plumettaz. The Lancier range covers electric, hydraulic, and petrol/diesel models for small to large diameter cables. Feeding equipment pushes the cable from behind rather than relying on pulling force alone. That reduces tension at the most vulnerable points along the route.

Pushing force stays high across a wide range of feed rates, keeping tension low throughout the pull. Plumettaz options include the DF Series hydraulic feeder and the Watucab™ cable installer.
