The HTC leadership group works collaboratively to coach and support all members of the HTC team. With strong backgrounds in business governance as well as specialised experience in hydraulic equipment and other professional fields, HTC’s management team is committed to supporting customers to high standards and representing our supplier partners with integrity. Opportunities for career development are regularly encouraged and several of the team are examples of what can be achieved.

Robb Huskinson

CEO, Director

Robb graduated with an honours degree from Victoria University and worked in sales and marketing before moving into industrial recruitment. In 2001 he purchased HTC from his parents who 20 years earlier had founded the company in the garden shed. Robb enjoys the challenge of growing the business and his team. He draws a great amount of pride in hearing from satisfied clients and works hard to maintain the company’s reputation for makin’ the hard job easy. He likes to catch King Fish too!

Murray Gutry

Board Chair, Director

Murray is a highly-credentialled CEO and Director, with broad industry experience, including roles with Perry Group, Sport New Zealand and Midland Health Network.

As Board Chair, Murray plays a critical role in supporting and guiding the HTC leadership to grow and develop the business.

Grant Stapleton

Non-Executive Director

Grant has 30+ years as a Business Leader, as a founder, CEO and Director across a variety of industries.

Grant is a firm believer in strengthening the human capital of the businesses he works with and is a natural developer of people. “Good leadership is about recognising talent in others; we should never underestimate the value of talent to a business. Good people, who are highly engaged and believe in a purpose, can do exceptional things. So, making a difference, for me, is about giving people purpose.”

Chris Coombe

CFO

As a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Directors, Chris has vast and diverse finance and commercial experience.  Chris has a strong record for making positive changes, developing teams and creating Finance as an enabler for business.  Also a family man, rugby fan and cricket expert.

Daniel Brice

General Manager

Daniel joined HTC Auckland in 2007 as our Calibration Manager where he gained a huge amount of experience with torque equipment. In 2010 he moved home to Christchurch to open our branch there and has since gained a wide knowledge our equipment and customers. He is often found lifting a bridge or machine with our synchronised jacking system and when he’s not at work he enjoys tinkering with cars (Nissans) or spending time with his family and friends.

Brad Osment

Sales Manager - National

Brad has had a varied career that has seen him working in all corners of the globe. His experience has taught him that much of what our customers do is problem-solving and he is here because he believes HTC can help provide the solution. Aside from work Brad has interests in mountain biking and snowboarding.

Deepak Vig

Operations Manager

Deepak picks things up quickly and has developed an in-depth knowledge of our products and services. It wasn’t long before he became a go-to-guy and he has progressed via the Hire department to now oversee HTC’s Operations and is a highly valuable member of the HTC team.

Stephen King

Branch Manager - Christchurch

Stephen is our Branch Manager in Christchurch. He has a wealth of hands on and technical experience gained from working in various sales and management roles prior to joining us. When he’s not working at HTC he’s normally found going nutty on his walnut farm  .

Ben Peters

Branch Manager - Auckland

After a successful career in Automotive retail, Ben joined HTC as part of the Internal Sales team in 2017.  With a passion for customer service and learning everything there is to know about our customers and how the products that we supply can help them, Ben has climbed the ranks through the Sales department.  Ben is now creating a fantastic team culture, leading our entire Auckland branch.
