The TONE CNR Series are cordless battery nutrunners with an integrated torque controller and square drive — purpose-built for structural, civil, and infrastructure bolting where mains power isn’t available. Five models cover 150 to 2,100 N·m, all running on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform with a 40-minute charge time. Brushless DC motor, automatic torque shut-off, and ±5% repeat accuracy. The TONE CNR Series brings square-drive cordless bolting to structural and civil applications — fully cordless, automatic torque shut-off, and the same ±5% accuracy as TONE’s wired nutrunner range. Five models cover 150 to 2,100 N·m.
Why the CNR Series
The CNR Series is TONE’s square-drive cordless nutrunner range — the counterpart to the lever-socket CNB Series, designed for applications where standard impact sockets are used rather than lever sockets. The torque controller is integrated directly into the tool body, automatic shut-off stops the tool at the preset torque value, and the brushless DC motor delivers consistent performance across the full torque range with minimal maintenance.
All five models run on the HiKOKI Multi-Volt battery platform (BSL 36B18 / BSL 36A18), with a 40-minute charge time. The square drive accepts standard impact sockets across the ¾” and 1″ drive ranges, making the CNR Series straightforward to deploy on sites already running impact socket inventory.
