PLUGY DC – Handling & Sealing Sequence
The unique construction of PLUGY DC blocking plugs incorporates a specialized two-part inflation sequence to ensure a completely secure and spill-free operation.

Phase 1: Upper Part Inflation – The plug is first inserted into the middle of the connection. In the first phase of the process, the upper plug part is inflated to completely prevent liquid spills from escaping the lateral line.

Phase 2: Complete Flow Stopping – In the second phase, the remaining lower body of the plug is inflated to seal the main pipe and completely stop the flow.
This specialized handling sequence makes them ideal for connection repairs, localized leak detection, line isolation, and demanding lateral maintenance works.
