Arc Protection Blanket for Electrical Fault Containment

An electrical arc fault releases intense heat, pressure, and molten material in a fraction of a second. HTC supplies the Estex arc protection blanket, layered from Aramid, Nomex, and Kevlar. These layers manage thermal radiation, pressure waves, and molten spray during an arcing event.

It suits manhole and vault work, hanging at a safe distance from the potential fault point. This blanket is not an electrical insulator, so it must never substitute for insulating equipment. Inspect the blanket before every use and retire it at the first sign of wear or damage.
