Hydraulic Reel Stands for Overhead Line Stringing

Controlling pay-off speed and tension during conductor stringing is critical. HTC supplies hydraulic reel stands from TEMA across a range of load capacities. An unbraked drum spins freely and causes over-run and tangling. A braked stand solves this — it lifts, supports, and controls the drum throughout the stringing operation.

All models feature foldable steel frames and hydraulic drum lifting jacks. Disc brakes control torque and counter-pull during conductor pay-off. Prearranged models accept a hydraulic driven head for motorized drum control. The 041 series adds recovery unit capability for completed stringing operations.
