Cutting a cable that’s still live has catastrophic consequences. HTC supplies the Durapac BP114 live cable tester for power utility and contractor applications. Proving dead status before any cut is not optional. It is the fundamental safety step that protects both the operator and the surrounding system during high-voltage work.

It proves dead cable status and performs the cut in one controlled operation. A cordless infrared remote and non-conductive hose keep the operator clear during the process. The battery-powered pump makes the system fully portable for field use.
