Cutting a live cable has catastrophic consequences. Proving dead status before any cut is not optional. It is the fundamental safety step that protects the operator and the system. HTC supplies the Durapac BP114 live cable tester for power utility and contractor applications.

It proves dead cable status and performs the cut in one controlled operation. A cordless infrared remote and 8m non-conductive hose keep the operator clear during the process. The battery-powered pump makes the system fully portable for field use.
