Preparing ACSR conductors for compression joints requires removing the aluminium stranding from the steel core. HTC supplies cable strippers for ACSR conductor preparation, most notably the PSC-1 Conductor Trimmer. Made in the USA, it works cleanly and accurately at height or under time pressure. Lightweight aluminium construction keeps the kit easy to carry, including the cutter, bushing holder, and a bushing case.
