Cable Strippers for ACSR Conductor Preparation

Preparing ACSR conductors for compression joints requires removing the aluminium stranding from the steel core. HTC supplies cable strippers for ACSR conductor preparation, most notably the PSC-1 Conductor Trimmer. Doing it cleanly and accurately — at height or under time pressure — demands a purpose-built tool.

The PSC-1, made in the USA, quickly removes aluminium stranding from around the steel core of ACSR conductors. Lightweight aluminium alloy construction keeps the kit easy to carry and use on site. The kit includes the cutter, bushing holder, and a case storing 11 bushings.
