We’re looking for a Service Technician to join our Christchurch team and support our South Island customers. This is a full-time role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety, customer interaction, and working in a supportive, tight-knit team.
What you will be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of specialised tools and equipment
- Keeping the service area and inventory organised and well-presented
- Managing jobs from start to finish, including customer communication and service reports
- Maintaining accurate tool and customer records
- Sharing knowledge and learning as part of a collaborative team
What we are looking for
- Mechanical aptitude with a practical, hands-on approach
- Experience in service, repair, or maintenance (engineering background an advantage)
- Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, or Electrical systems a big plus
- Strong attention to detail and computer literacy for job records and invoicing
- Physically capable, motivated, and ready to take initiative
- A positive attitude and willingness to pitch in when the team needs you
